How to Find FirstMed Clinic in Budapest?
Our clinic is located in Hattyúház, an iconic building near Széll Kálmán tér, with easy access from anywhere in Budapest and beyond, making it convenient for visitors. Address: Hattyú utca 14., 5th Floor, 1015 Budapest.
Access by public transport
- Take the M2 (red) metro line, or one of the several buses or trams till Széll Kálmán tér. Then walk 400 meters past the metro station, and Hattyú Street will be on your right.
- By trams 4, 6, and 17: get off at Széna tér stop, Hattyúház is opposite the stop.
The building is opposite the Mammut shopping center, next to a Shell gas station.
Access by car
There are reserved (free) parking lots for our patients in the underground garage of Hattyúház. The entrance is at the side of the building, opposite to Fiath János utca 16.

Will I see an English-speaking doctor?
Yes. Every doctor and receptionist at FirstMed speaks English. You’ll be able to describe what’s wrong and understand your diagnosis and treatment clearly, without a language barrier getting in the way while you’re already feeling unwell.
Will my paperwork be in English?
Yes. You’ll leave with your diagnosis, prescription, and any other documentation printed in English, signed and ready. If you have travel insurance, this includes an itemized invoice you can use to file a claim once you’re home.
Do I need travel insurance, or can I pay in cash?
Neither is required. You do not need Hungarian residency, local ID, or health insurance to be seen. You’re welcome to pay directly by card or cash at the time of your visit, or use travel insurance if you have it.
How fast can I get seen?
Often the same day. Call us or fill out the form, and we’ll find you the next available slot. Booking ahead means our team’s ready the moment you arrive, so you’re in and out faster.
Can you see children at the clinic?
