This philosophy came to life recently in Budapest, when FirstMed had the honor of participating in an international educational exchange on Treatment Review and Innovation in Pediatrics, with a delegation of 35 pediatricians from the Philippines.

Despite differences in healthcare systems and geography, the exchange highlighted many pediatric challenges and solutions. While Dr. Laufer’s comprehensive presentation focused on children’s skulls, Dr. Kálmán emphasized integrating current medical knowledge with compassionate, child-focused care. She highlighted the importance of observation, communication, and personalized information, as well as the pediatrician’s role in identifying early signs of ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and special communication needs (SCN).
