FirstMed would like to help guide you and your partner through the looming maze of childbirth with our Prenatal Education course.
Our seven-part class series will answer all of your questions and concerns you may already be asking yourself about the impending birth of your child. The classes are supplemental to your prenatal care with your obstetrician but are open to everyone – not only FirstMed patients.
Pediatric First Aid Course
3 hours that could save your child’s life!
During our training, you will learn, or simply refresh, your knowledge of basic first aid steps specifically designed to give the skills to provide first aid or treatment to an infant (0-1-year-old) or small child at the scene of an accident before qualified help arrives.
This focused, interactive course consists of a mix of both theory and hands-on practice. Each class will be open for a maximum of 5 people.
Adult First Aid Course
During our Adult First Aid seminar, you can learn or simply refresh knowledge of basic first aid measures and Basic Life Support with AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
The course will be held in groups maximum of 10 people and will last for two hours of theory and practice. It also includes materials.
First Aid Courses
Accidents and emergencies are always unexpected and frightening, particularly when our children are involved. Are you prepared?
FirstMed offers adult and pediatric first aid trainings in English for anyone interested in learning first aid skills. Courses are tailored for different groups with different needs. We hold trainings for parents, preschool teachers, sports club coaches, and office staff.
The focus of all classes is to achieve basic practical competence in core resuscitation skills (cardiopulmonary resuscitation, relief of choking, recovery position) and commonly encountered medical problems and accidents.
Prenatal Exercise
Keeping fit and active during your pregnancy will help you adapt to your changing weight and shape. It can also help you to cope better during labor and get back into shape after the birth.
If you’ve had a hard or stressful day at work, exercise may be the best way to relax and ensure you get a good night’s sleep. If you exercise regularly before your pregnancy, keep it up for as long as you feel comfortable.
