Regular gynecological checkups are crucial for maintaining women’s health.

Taking care of your body is key to good health. Annual gynecological screenings serve as a preventive measure to protect your well-being. Get a thorough exam regularly, with the most essential assessments, and ensure your health is in the best hands.

Comprehensive women’s health screening

FirstMed’s annual gynecology screening is a thorough assessment that covers all aspects of women’s health issues, including the following preventive screenings and examinations:

  • Pelvic exam, a visual and manual examination of your reproductive organs, including the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix, and vagina.
  • Cervical cancer screening: through Pap smear tests, which efficiently identify conditions like chlamydia or gonorrhea, and HPV tests, our gynecologist can detect the early development of cervical cancer and prevent severe health consequences down the line.
  • Vaginal ultrasound to examine the reproductive organs for abnormalities, such as cysts or fibroid tumors.
  • Manual breast examination can detect any signs of breast cancer at its earliest stages, maximizing treatment chances.

Additional diagnostics

Along with regular checkups, your gynecological exam might include extra diagnostic tests to identify early-stage cancer when treatment is most successful. This is recommended for every woman over 40.
  • Mammography to detect breast cancer at its earliest stages. It involves taking pictures of the breast tissue to determine whether there are any abnormalities in the cells that could lead to cancer.
  • Breast ultrasound, a safe and painless diagnostic tool that uses sound waves to create images of the breast. It can help detect lumps or other abnormalities in the breast tissue.

Proactively identifying and addressing gynecological health issues can significantly improve overall wellness and quality of life. Remember the importance of early detection; it’s key to effective treatment and a healthier future!

Your health matters to us. Make an annual gynecological examination part of your health routine.
