Personalized Consultations

Our obstetrics practice aims to keep you informed and confident throughout your prenatal journey. When you schedule your initial consultation, you can anticipate regular visits with your gynecologist customized to your health needs. If everything is progressing smoothly, you can expect:

• Monthly appointments during the first six months of pregnancy
• Biweekly visits in the seventh and eighth months
• Weekly check-ins as you approach the ninth month

Obstetrics consultations offer a valuable opportunity for you to discuss any questions or concerns you may have, including:

• Tips for maintaining a healthy diet and staying active throughout your pregnancy. 
• What to expect on the day of your delivery.
• Essential techniques for newborn care.

Comprehensive Screenings and Examinations

Our OB/GYN specialists monitor your health during pregnancy by key indicators, such as:

• Your weight and blood pressure,
• The size and shape of your uterus to track your baby’s growth,
• Screen for sugar and protein levels: to gain a complete understanding of your health, through urine lab tests.

Diabetes Screening

As part of our comprehensive obstetrics care routine, we perform diabetes screening between the 24th and 28th weeks of pregnancy. For those at higher risk of gestational diabetes, this may happen earlier, around the 12th week. If any issues arise, our diabetologist can assist you.

Advanced Ultrasound Imaging

We utilize ultrasound scans, including 4D ultrasound, to visualize your baby using sound waves. This technology enables us to:

• Monitor your baby’s growth and development
• Listen to the fetal heartbeat and assess breathing movements
• Determine if you’re having multiples
• Identify any potential abnormalities that could affect your pregnancy or delivery.

Additionally, our Genetic Ultrasound, performed around the 19-20 week mark, screens for possible physical abnormalities, respecting your choice regarding this vital test.

Developmental Screening

Our obstetric care may include additional screenings designed to predict or detect specific developmental or chromosomal abnormalities in your fetus. Early detection allows for timely support and intervention from specialized professionals if necessary.
