In addition to pediatric care, Dr. Bodnár also guides parents on various aspects of childcare, helping families make informed decisions about their children’s health and well-being. As a certified lactation consultant, she assists mothers with breastfeeding challenges and guides expectant parents on newborn care during the first few weeks of their child’s life.

Dr. Erika Bodnár gained hands-on experience in pediatric care at Heim Pál Hospital and the Semmelweis University Pediatric Clinics. She also earned a diploma as a lactation consultant from Semmelweis University in 2022 and passed her pediatric exam in 2024.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Szeged in 2018 and has been working in the Premature Infant Intensive Care and Neonatal Department at Péterfy Sándor Street Hospital since then.

Erika combines her experience in nursing and pediatrics. Before beginning her medical career, she gained extensive experience in nursing, with a focus on nephrology and dialysis care. Over the years, she has worked at several hospitals and dialysis centers, developing specialized expertise in dialysis and general nursing practices.

Dr. Erika Bodnár is a native Hungarian and also fluent in English. She has also conducted baby first aid courses for parents in both English and Hungarian.
