Krisztina Ajtai
Psychologist
Krisztina Ajtai offers psychological counseling for adults in English, Spanish, and Hungarian at FirstMed Budapest. Warm and non-judgmental, she gives you room to talk through what’s actually weighing on you – no scripts, no rush.
Hungarian by heritage but born and raised in Madrid, Krisztina knows both sides of the expat experience: the challenge of building a life in an unfamiliar country, and the culture waiting on the other end. Many of her patients are internationals navigating that same transition.
She holds a bachelor’s from Károli Gáspár University and a master’s in Psychology from the University of Szeged, and completed Systemic Family and Couples Therapy training in early 2026. Her current work is peer-supervised – a standard that keeps her practice sharp and accountable – and she continues advanced training with the Hungarian Association of Complex Integrative Psychotherapy (MAKOMP).
