It simplifies the payment process, allowing us to settle your medical bills that occur with our clinic directly with your insurance company without the need for complex paperwork or lengthy reimbursement processes.
After your visit, we will guide you through completing all the necessary insurance claim forms and send them to your insurer. We also take care of the payment arrangements directly with the insurance company, ensuring a straightforward process for you.

How the direct billing to insurance works?

Insurance Card
Please bring your insurance card on your first visit. We will attach it to your medical file so you won't need to bring it again.
Credit Card Authorization
To ensure payment, we need a credit card authorization form. You can get the form at the reception, and we will keep the information strictly confidential.
Sign the claim form
Please sign the filled claim form after your visit, which we will submit to your insurer to settle your bill directly with them.

If you happen to suffer from an unexpected injury or illness during your stay in Budapest, rest assured that we are ready to assist you. Our clinic may promptly provide necessary treatment for a range of medical concerns and handle the billing smoothly with your insurer in these qualifying cases:
- your travel insurance policy allows direct billing and
- we are contracted with your insurance provider.
Note that travel medical insurance only covers the treatment of an illness or injury that occurred (or started):
- outside your home country (i.e. while your stay in Budapest, Hungary), and
- during the validity period of your insurance policy.
Please take the following conditions into account for direct billing:
- Please ensure that direct billing is possible according to your specific policy.
- You are responsible for payment of the services not covered by your insurance policy, such as excess deductibles, co-pays, etc.
- If your insurance company denies the claim, you should cover the costs yourself. Therefore, we may need a payment guarantee to ensure to secure the cover of your bill.
- While we accept insurance from many companies, please check whether we are contracted with your insurer.
If your insurance policy does not support direct billing, you will have to pay for your medical expenses upfront and then submit a reimbursement claim to your insurance company. We help simplify that for you by providing the necessary invoices in English and in the format required by insurance companies.
Direct billing process for Telemedicine consultations:
If you are our existing patient, we can bill the cost of your Telemedicine consultations directly to your insurance company if your plan covers these online visits and your details are up to date.
Follow the simple steps below:
- Schedule an appointment on our Telemedicine site.
- After confirming your appointment, we will send you a claim form, please download it.
- Send the completed form back to us before your appointment.
- We will handle the payment of your consultation fee directly with your insurance company.

We have established relationships with over 110 private insurance providers to facilitate medical claims most conveniently.
Even if we do not have an established relationship with your insurer, you may still obtain our direct billing service. Still, we will need a payment guarantee to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process for you.
