4D Ultrasound

With the 4D scanning technology of our new Voluson 730 ultrasound, we can obtain amazing real time 3D images of your baby with extraordinary detail. Parents have the chance to see their baby smile, yawn, suck on his little fingers, or scratch her little nose and display other behaviors of a newborn baby.

This procedure takes 20-30 minutes. First a fetal wellness check is conducted, and then some time is spent on obtaining the best possible images of the baby. The 4D movie created during the procedure will be available for parents to take home in the form of a DVD.

The best time for this exam is about 25 weeks into the pregnancy.

Prenatest

The PrenaTest® prenatal screening test is performed during your first trimester of pregnancy. It lets you know whether you are at risk of carrying a fetus that may be affected by one of the most common birth anomalies: Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) and Trisomy 18.

As opposed to earlier ways of testing genetic disorders, PrenaTest is

  • non-invasive
  • delivers results from one simple blood draw
  • faster
  • less painful
  • does not carry the risk of miscarriage or harming the fetus.
