How to book an appointment?

Phone

The best way to book an appointment is to call our main number: +36 1 224 9090; your call can be answered in English.

Sometimes, we can get very busy with nonstop calls. Therefore, the phones can be answered after a period of time. You can either stay on the line and let it ring or send a message.

Email

For non-urgent matters, you can email us; we respond to emails as soon as possible.

Chat

Alternatively, reach us via Google Maps chat or the blue chatbox on our website [lower right corner].

There may be some gaps in answering the chat while we are busy with phone calls. Please wait some time if there is a delay in response, or call if your matter is urgent, as we prioritize the phone calls.

Appointment confirmation

Upon successful booking, you will promptly receive a confirmation email within 10 to 15 minutes. Please take a moment to review the details for accuracy. Should you not receive a confirmation within 30 minutes, contact us; the email address may be incorrect, or the message could be in your spam folder.

FirstMed is a multi-specialty primary care clinic.

That means that general practitioners and pediatricians are available in the clinic during our regular opening hours, Monday through Sunday, further to a range of specialty medical care practices.

Some specialists require a medical referral before being seen, ensuring our patients receive the appropriate care and attention they need. Cardiology, neurology, nephrology, and pulmonology specialists cannot be directly booked and require a referral (from a FirstMed or an outside doctor).

Sometimes, visiting a doctor is not possible. Our Telemedicine service lets you connect with our doctors anywhere on any device with a camera, microphone, speaker, and stable internet connection.

Use your international private health insurance or travel medical insurance and have your medical bill settled by your insurer. FirstMed’s direct billing service makes this easy.

However, if your travel insurance policy operates on a reimbursement claims process, you’ll need to pay your medical costs at the time of your visit. But don’t worry, our billing process makes filing a claim for reimbursement with your insurance company easy and straightforward.

Remember that travel medical insurance only covers the treatment of an illness or injury that occurred (or started) abroad, outside your home country, during the validity period of your insurance policy.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of your appointment so that the staff can keep the schedules. Sometimes, there is a lot of traffic, especially during rush hour; please plan accordingly. If you are checked more than 10 minutes past the starting time, the doctor may refuse to see you for lack of time.

We kindly request that you avoid missing your scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. This avoids any inconvenience and respects the time of other patients and the medical staff.

Feel free to reach out to us 24/7 with any questions you may have. Our dedicated support team is here to help and ready to provide assistance with any inquiries you might have, at any time.
