FirstMed is a leading English-speaking family practice, women’s health, pediatric, and specialist medical services provider in Budapest. We are looking for Weekend and Night Receptionists to join the expanding team of our private outpatient clinic in central Buda, which has existed for almost 25 years.
Responsibilities at a glance:
Fundamental duties as a weekend and night receptionist:
As a part of our Receptionist team, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patients.
Your tasks will include:
- Accomplishing day-to-day administrative duties
- Answering patient requests via email, chat or phone
- Scheduling appointments
- Taking phone calls
- Welcoming and registering patients at the reception desk over our weekend opening hours
Shift details:
- 12/24 hours shifts during weekday evenings or full day on weekends.
- A minimum commitment of 4 weeknights and 1 weekend per month – flexible scheduling to accommodate your student schedule, personal obligations, and summer break plans.
- Don’t worry, you won’t be pulling all-nighters! You are expected to answer some calls that might come in at night, and begin active work at 6:30 am to prepare for the day.
Application requirements for weekend and night receptionist position:
Our multidisciplinary team cross-functionally needs members who can work independently and collaboratively.
As our ideal candidate, you are:
- Currently a student
- Fluent in English and Hungarian — but don’t have to be a native Hungarian speaker
- Capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Equipped with sound communication skills and known for your friendly, open-minded personality
- Familiarity with a medical environment can give you an added advantage but is not mandatory
