What will you learn in our Pediatric and Adult First Aid Course?
FirstMed’s comprehensive First Aid Course is a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice with particular emphasis on the following areas:
- First Aid Basics: Understand the principles of first aid, focusing on emergency responses for infants, children, and adults.
- Pediatric First Aid: Master how to address common childhood injuries and emergencies, including choking, cuts, burns, and allergic reactions.
- Adult First Aid: Learn to manage adult-specific emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, severe bleeding, and perform CPR.
- Injury Prevention: Gain insights into minimizing injury and health risks for both children and adults.
- Emergency Protocols: Know when and how to contact emergency services effectively.
- Practical Skills: Engage in hands-on practice on CPR techniques for different age groups and the Heimlich maneuver for choking.
Our training covers more than just handling injuries and life-threatening events. Plenty of things can happen that might be frightening but aren’t necessarily severe enough to merit an ambulance ride. You will also learn how to manage these situations.

The First Aid Course schedule
This introductory session will cover the basics of first aid, emphasizing its importance and the role of the first aider.

There will be 15-min coffee break after the first session.
During this training portion, you will go over some essential practical exercises. These include:
- What to do with an unconscious casualty and a choking person;

Don't take our word for it. Hear what our attendees say.
We always welcome feedback from our attendees to ensure our course topics are the best they can be! Below we share some of the notes we received:
“It was one of the few trainings that I was delighted with. Not only the practical aspect, but above all, the very clear and transparent explanation of the rules of procedure in the field of first aid, but also the detailed explanation of why it should be done this way and not another and how it affects the injured person’s body were invaluable. Very valuable knowledge provided in an accessible way by a very nice and competent instructor!!!”
