What will you learn in our Pediatric First Aid Course?

In this focused, English-language Pediatric First Aid course, you will get practical, hands-on training on providing basic medical care to a baby or infant, who is experiencing a sudden injury or illness.

We’ll show you what to do if the child is choking, how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on infants, children, and adults, and how to manage seizures, accidents and injuries, burns, and other common medical emergencies.

The Pediatric First Aid Course will cover:

  1. How to respond to a first aid emergency involving a baby or a child.
  2. How to help a baby or child who is unresponsive and breathing;
  3. What to do if the child has swallowed something harmful;
  4. How to recognize and manage early stages of the most common childhood diseases, injuries, and illnesses.

The training covers more than just handling injuries and life-threatening events. There are plenty of things that can happen to babies and children that might be frightening for parents but aren’t necessarily severe enough to merit an ambulance ride. You also will learn how to manage these situations.
