Dr. Varjú is highly experienced in diagnosing and removing all types of skin cancers, including melanoma. Cytology exams may be performed to detect any signs of cancerous cells on the surface of your skin. If you are concerned about having a mole or other skin lesion, Dr. Varjú can provide peace of mind. Dr. László Varjú, a highly experienced medical professional at FirstMed, provides screening and treatment of cosmetic and acute skin concerns:

Dr. Varjú began his medical career at the University of Graz in Austria, where he gained a global perspective on healthcare. He completed his family practice residency in the United States at the University of Michigan, serving as a skin surgery lecturer. He later joined a private practice in Illinois connected to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital. He continued his career in the U.S. Air Force, accumulating over 10,000 hours of expertise in emergency medicine. Returning to Hungary, he joined FirstMed in 2000.
He still has active medical licenses in the United States, Missouri, and Illinois, and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice.
