During your 30-minute consultation, Dr. Varjú will thoroughly examine your skin using a dermoscopy, a special diagnostic tool designed to look for signs of melanoma and other skin conditions. This in-depth assessment will help identify any issues needing immediate attention, providing you with peace of mind and a clear path forward.
Skin cancer screening and removal
Dr. Varjú is highly experienced in diagnosing and removing all types of skin cancers, including melanoma. Cytology exams may be performed to detect any signs of cancerous cells on the surface of your skin. If you are concerned about having a mole or other skin lesion, Dr. Varjú can provide peace of mind. He will carefully examine your skin to identify any suspicious lesions or moles and, if necessary, remove cancerous skin tumors with the utmost care.

Dr. Varjú began his medical career at the University of Graz in Austria, where he gained a global perspective on healthcare. He completed his family practice residency, in the United States at the University of Michigan, serving also as a lecturer in skin surgery. He later joined a private practice in Illinois connected to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital and continued his career in the U.S. Air Force. In 2000, he joined FirstMed, where he specializes in screening and treating cosmetic and acute skin issues.
His international exposure has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of diverse medical practices.
