Premium Plan – Child

The Premium Plan – Child includes the following on-site medical services:

• Two unrelated visits per month, each with one follow-up visit when needed, with a FirstMed pediatrician, – in person at our clinic or via Telemedicine.
• Preventative checks, such as the Well-Child Checks.
• All mandatory vaccinations on the Hungarian schedule (additional vaccines are charged separately).
• One occasion per plan year of each of the services – if medically indicated – with the following specialists:
  • Allergy Specialist/Immunologist
  • Dermatologist
  • Ophthalmologist (over 5 years old)
  • Radiologist
  • ENT (Ear-Nose-Throat)
  • Neurologist
  • Endocrinologist
  • Pediatric surgeon
  • Pulmonologist
  • Neonatologist

  If you need a specialist consultation, please enquire at our reception whether they are in-house or external consultants before making an appointment. External consultants are NOT covered under the Premium Plan (Child).

• Diagnostics – if medically indicated – including on-site x-ray, ultrasound, and laboratory tests.
• Telemedicine consultations
• COVID tests: 2 free Antigen tests, further tests are with 35% off
• One occasion per year of each of the services below:
  • Annual flu shot
  • Annual dental check-up
  • Physical therapy
  • Nutritionist consultation
• Preventative exams:
  • Well-Child Check
  • School physical exam
  • Travel consultations

Exclusions and Additional Charges

The Plan does not cover any medical services not specifically mentioned above. The exclusions are not limited to the list below:

• After-hours visits require an additional charge of HUF 25,000 per visit.
• Hospital care
• Specialists: gastroenterology, urology, nephrologists, neurologists, pulmonologists, oncologists, hematology, child genetics, psychiatrist, psychologist
• ENG/EMG diagnostics
• CT scan/MRI diagnostics
• Ambulance transportation and home visits
• Dental care
• Medications, vaccinations, and medical supplies (e.g., bandages, crutches, casts, splint application, etc.)
• Laser treatments and bone density screening
• Therapeutic massage
• Immunotherapy
• Conditions arising from drug abuse, alcoholism, or sexually transmitted diseases

Additional Information

• When purchasing the plan, you will be required to fill out a Credit Card Authorization form that serves as a payment guarantee for FirstMed. The information given on the form will be kept strictly confidential.
• The services provided or arranged by FirstMed, which are not included in the scope of the Premium Plan – Child, may involve significant costs. Please enquire about the prices prior to the treatment.
• Plan holders are entitled to a 35% discount on selected outside medical consultations, exams, and surgeon fees organized and billed by FirstMed.
• FirstMed is not for responsible organizing outside appointments when the patient pays at the place of service. However, we can still provide contact information for outside consultants or facilities.
• Missing an appointment [No-show] or canceling within 24 hours prior to your visit will count against your total included in the plan. For consultations: ‘follow-up’ visits and ‘No-shows’ will count towards the plans totals.
